I’ve done something silly.
I’m going to New York.
No, that’s not the silly part. I love New York. I have dear, dear friends there who are doing something extraordinary this weekend that I will take many pictures of and report back to you in a timely fashion. For a sneak peak of this extraordinary behavior, visit here. Hansel & Gretel, an indie-folk musical
No, the silly part is that I booked a red-eye flight to get there.
Yes, that’s right. In 6 1/2 hours I will get on a plane, stop briefly in Georgia, and eventually arrive in New York tomorrow morning.
Early.
My neck is already aching in preparation for the upright, no sleep, posture I expect I’ll be in for the entirety of both flights. But what can you do? When you’re young, you do silly things such as this. Or something.
I’m so excited to board and really be on my way. These last few hours before any trip are always agonizing. Everything is packed, preparations are made, and all that is left to do is act.
I’m ready to act. Let me be free and fly forth! (No, I’m not weird…why do you ask?)
With any luck I’ll have a few updates for you while in the midst of this trip, but if not, I’ll make sure to have a whopper of a post when I return next week.
Until then, be well and such.
