It was their day, put into motion 11 years prior when they were high school sweethearts. But they wanted to share it with another couple who had been so kind and generous to them.
So, Paul and Jenna called up the couple who had opened their home and beautiful yard to wedding guests, caterers, decorators, and two photographers, to share a dance all their own. This wasn’t that couple’s first dance, but rather a dance to celebrate their 40th anniversary which would fall on the following day. And Paul and Jenna saw that as good luck.
Yes, this was their day, but it was also a day to acknowledge, thank and celebrate the love and generosity so happily offered them from so many.
Paul and Jenna: thank you for sharing your day with Dan and myself. We had a tremendous time documenting your wedding story and wish you all the best!
This wedding was incredibly difficult to cut down for this blog post. When you enjoy shooting a wedding as much as we enjoyed this one, you love your images like you love your children: equally. (Right, Mom? I’m putting the middle child thing aside for tonight. But just this once! Personal growth happening.) So forgive me is this is a rather packed post.
The preacher, ladies and gentleman. He was as awesome as he looks.
