Sometimes you spend your Saturdays relaxing, sometimes you spend them photographing weddings, sometimes you hop a train at 7 a.m. and travel north to Wyoming. That’s what we did this past Saturday, aboard the Denver Post Cheyenne Frontier Days train. I’ve heard of this grand adventure for many years now, but never had the opportunity to hear the “All aboard!” for myself or travel across the great frontiers of Colorado and Wyoming. So when Dan and I were asked to document the trip, we happily accepted the opportunity.
It was everything you could hope for from a train trip in the west. I daresay I could get used to train travel. The whip of scenery through the window ports, the not-always-gentle swaying along the tracks. It’s just my style, folks.
Please proceed to the Denver Post Media Center to see more photos of the Cheyenne Frontier Days train from both Dan and myself.
Happy trails!
