At the end of April, Dan and I flew out to San Francisco for a week of vacation with my family. I have spent many a week in San Francisco over the years and love it more every time I visit. I am fond of many a thing in the fair city, not least of all its rather photogenic nature. So for this month’s 10-on-10 I pulled together some of the most colorful images from the batch that I shot on this most recent trip to the bay.

First!

Now you all know that Colorado is my favorite. My first love, my spirit animal. It’s a beautiful state with the mountains and the plains, the snow and the evergreens. But one thing Colorado doesn’t always have is an abundance of lush greens and flashy, bright plant life.

What I’m trying to say is, I went a little crazy photographing flowers, you guys. (And one trio of pastel houses.)
