Accurate representation of my current state.
They have struck a low blow today.
I felt fine and sprightly when I awoke this morning. I was 100 percent good to go. The sun was shining, the air was crisp and clean, and as I stepped out my front door into beautiful Denver it seemed only fitting that a bouncy xylophone player accompany me on my walk to work. (Sadly, this bouncy xylophone player existed only in my head.)
Then, I resumed my dance with the numbers.
And now, my throat is swelling. My body is revolting. It’s apocalypse now, baby.
However, I’m of a stubborn stock (my great-grandmother turns 99 on Saturday, those are good genes) and I won’t cede to this number-induced illness.
Constant vigilance!
So, tonight I crash. But just for tonight, for tomorrow I have an epic quest. It involves a car, caffeine, I-25 and the iPhone.
And by tomorrow afternoon, The Colorado Campaign will launch!
Stay tuned!
