One week of winter || Colorado weather…again

It’s very much winter out there in the Colorado piece of the world.

Gray, white, cold. Frozen tundra. Siberia.

As a Russian gal, I should be feeling right at home.

However, after about a solid week of winter here in Colorado, I would like to call this one and greet spring.

Did you hear that sound? That was everybody east of here shushing me in an “Oh stop your complaining!” sort of way.

It’s true, Colorado has had a very mild winter so far. Up until the past few weeks, we had only two small snow storms, and were enjoying 60-70 degree days. The east coast, meanwhile, really has been encased in ice.

However, after only this small taste, I am officially ready for flowers to bloom and bright colors to spring back into the world. Come on, Weather, take one for the team!

I expect I’ve jinxed it and a blizzard is forthcoming.
