Our trip planning, Google document hadn’t a title.
Thinking of “famous” road trips, the first image that came to mind was the illustrious travel scene in The Muppet Movie. (You know the one.)
Hence my document title: Road tripping like Kermit and Fonzie.
The only thing…
Emily: “Ooh, I like it. We now have a theme song! “Moving Right Along.” So are you Kermit or Fozzie (not Fonzie 😉 )”
(Life lesson: When in doubt and clearly ignorant about proper Muppet names…just go with it!)
Me: “I want to be Fonzie. Because then I can say, “Heeeeeey.” All cool like. I better start studying up on other phrases and mannerisms. I also can then use my bathroom as an office. Which is really good because there’s no other room in my tiny studio for an office.”
And that’s how our still-to-be-planned, September, east coast road trip got its title.
Now all we have to do is decide:
- where we’re starting
- where we’re going
- where we’re stopping
- where we’re staying
- what we’re doing
- what does it all mean?!
We have an overabundant amount of ideas and possibilities.
If there are any east coast experts in the crowd, please shout out your suggestions!
Now please excuse me while I go practice my Fonzie impersonation…
