memorial day || in remembrance

Dan Reed, a member of the Colorado Patriot Guard and a veteran of the Vietnam War, stands watch over the arrival of 20 glass panels that will make up the Colorado Freedom Memorial on April 8 in Aurora. The memorial will feature more than 20 glass panels with the engraved names of nearly 6,000 of Colorado’s fallen soldiers. Anya Semenoff, YourHub

Memorial Day was yesterday. (As I’m sure you all know.) It’s a day set aside each year to remember those who have fallen in service to this country. If I was truly on top of things, I would have posted this then. However, though the calendar day has passed, let’s not fail to remember our veterans — those still with us or now held only in our hearts and memories — every day of the year.

Love,
