stills || manhattan photos

We don’t often know where a trip will take us. At least, not the way my family usually conducts our vacationing. We’ll construct a basic plan — New York City, museums, coffee, streets of Manhattan, more coffee — and then see where the intervening days take us. It’s the best way to go if I do say so myself. I like exploring, seeing what’s nearby, noticing things as they come up. Sometimes we get lost. Sometimes we know precisely where we’re going. Sometimes (most times) we’re operating in between those two points.

hey, hi & hello

Photographer, writer, over-enthusiastic coffee drinker. Intrepid defender of Colorado's western status. I live in Denver, Colo., with my husband, Dan Petty. This blog is where I share our triumphs, troubles and everyday slivers of life.

(And if you say Colorado is in the "midwest," we are going to have some words.)
