So October happened. It’s sort of a blur of stress, happiness, schedules, to do lists, centerpieces, passports, cameras, Europe, pasta (lots and lots of pasta). Here’s a quick list of all the things that have happened since last we spoke.
- Wedding rehearsal
- Rehearsal dinner
- WEDDING (!!!!)
- Champagne
- Realized we’re heading to Europe in 36 hours
- Packed
- Flew to Toronto
- Flew to Rome
- Rome
- Pasta (times a billion)
- Watched a game show in which the prime objective was to conjugate verbs (allegedly)
- Red wine
- Train to Paris
- Paris
- Climbed the Eiffel Tower
- Train to London
- Flight from London to Frankfurt
- Train to Berlin
- Berlin
- Fell in the middle of a busy, Berlin intersection while wearing a little black dress and sparkly heels
- Felt like the star of a sitcom when all the nearby Germans audibly gasped at my spread-eagle landing technique
- I don’t want to talk about it
- Train back to Frankfurt
- Flight to Toronto
- Flight to Denver
- Life
And that’s just the brief version. I have heaps and heaps of stories and photos to share, but for today, I give you another installment of our continued 10-on-10 project. It features the many trains of Europe, and the windows we look out of when we ride them.
Next up, we’ll dive more in depth to our European adventure. And wedding photos, lots of wedding photos!
