According to the laws of the internet, “year in review” and “best of” posts were due last week before we turned over into shiny and new 2014. But on this blog, it’s the wild, wild west. Welcome, pioneer, watch out for the tumbleweeds.

I’m back from my lovely week off and our brief blog vacation and wanted to share with you a few of my favorite images from a year (an almost year) of covering local news for the Denver Post. It’s been a truly humbling year of growth and learning for me. I’ve met many wonderful people, and been witness to grand adventures. I hope 2014 will bring much of the same.
