Getting to do what I do – taking photos of people at these remarkable moments in their lives – is a complete blessing in and of itself. When you get to share what you love doing with people who are very dear friends, that blessing feels even more incredible.

Monica is one of my loveliest friends. She can always be counted on to hash out the peculiarities of life over brunch, beer or coffee, with wisdom, laughter and helpings of good advice. So, you can imagine my reaction when she sent me a text message with the happy news that the fall photo shoot we had been planning on for her, her boyfriend and her puppy would in fact be something much more special: an engagement shoot.

I barely kept myself from shrieking out loud in the middle of the office.

So, we met her, Aaron and Monongahela on Mount Falcon a few weeks back. We frolicked through the gorgeous autumn sunshine, joking and laughing all the way, and celebrated their future together.

We love you guys, A and M (and little Mon)! Congratulations again!
