Never forgotten || Veterans Day

I just wanted to take a moment to say a sincere thank you to all veterans on this day of remembrance. Our country, our livelihoods, would not be  what it is without you. You have sacrificed more than should ever have to be asked, and you have done it without thought of reward. We owe you all of our gratitude and love.

To my grandfathers, both of whom served faithfully and well, I love you both so much. I’m grateful to have you still in our lives, and wouldn’t be where I am without you (literally!). I don’t say it enough, but thank you.

(The above photos were both shot during a sister/sister trip to Washington, D.C. this past June.)
