Our stories are never complete.

Chapters of our lives will come to a close, but until our lives have run their course, there is always an opportunity for an apparent ending to become an unexpected beginning.

Katie and Kenny are a prime example of this. Friends in high school, romance was never part of their narrative. When they graduated high school, that seemed to be the final period on their mutual short story.

Then they reconnected again many years later, began dating, and two weeks ago, they got married.

And just like that, what was their final period became an ellipses that will lead to many more stories.

I mentioned last week that while I wasn’t the official photographer for their celebration, I did sneak in a few shots. So here today are those frames.

(And don’t worry – the literary analogies are over. For now.)

This little fellow was all about the dance floor. Until groomsman Scott (another high school pal) offered to join him.
