go, do || New England road trip video

CONCORD, Mass. — Our trip, being nearly two weeks long, couldn’t be contained within one video.

Well, it could, but such a video would by necessity consist of short bursts of second-long segments that could quite possibly provoke a seizure in all that viewed it.

So, rather than endanger you, my faithful friends, I give you the first part of our New England road trip in video form.

I shot this video on my DSLR camera – my first using a camera other than the video app on my fancy phone! – so bear with me as I work out the kinks of a slightly more sophisticated tool.

We head a bit further north tomorrow, then finish off our trip back in Massachusetts.

It rather feels like we’ve been gone for weeks and weeks, and while we’re both loving this adventure, I think we are also becoming more acutely aware of how much we love home.

That’s just the nature of travel I suppose.

Anyway – the video!

Song: “Go do” by Jonsi. Please check out their music on iTunes or through Amazon, if that’s the way you roll. They are incredible musicians.

Video shot using a Nikon D300s and a 35mm lens.
