Radiohead came to Colorado last night.
I went to their concert at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo.
I did not take this photo.
However, my head was used as a stabilizing entity (read: tripod) in the act of taking this photo. So I feel about one-tenth ownership over it. Dan is a good head-and-a-half taller than I am, making me the perfect height to use as a stabilizing entity (read: tripod) while taking a picture in a very dimly lit concert arena with nothing but an iPhone.
Thus proving that if this whole being a photographer thing falls through, I can start a business whereby I act as a tripod, lightstand, gear-schlepping maven.
Lest we forget this:
I rest my case.
p.s. Prior to taking this rockin’ iPhone photo which I so solidly contributed to, Dan did in fact photograph the Radiohead show for Reverb with professional cameras and everything. Wild thing that he is. Check out the Reverb review and his gallery. Photo number four is my favorite. It’s pretty rad. Yes, rad. Going to rock shows results in me using words such as rad. It’s an osmosis thing.
p.p.s. Both photos shown here today are courtesy of my rad partner, Dan Petty. And this concludes the portion of the show where I use the word “rad” one too many times. Tune in next week when we explore the complexities of the word “groovy.”
