Dateline: my tiny, little fancy phone.
You know what’s truly just amazing? That I am composing this on the touchscreen of my new mobile device, the infamous iPhone. It’s also amazing that since getting the sucker, I’ve managed to drop it only once. I thought I should just go ahead and put the fear of its maker into the little thing from the start. Show it I mean business. I also wasn’t paying attention when I stood up from the car and made it plummet from my lap to the ground.
But my absentmindedness is another story entirely.
It’s interesting to think that – barring the loss of cell phone signal of course – I now have the ability to come to you from almost anywhere. My apartment still doesn’t have the power of the interwebs, yet here I type. I could be on vacation, riding a bus between New York and Boston, and touch base while in transit. It’s incredible to me, all that we can do with the technology we have before us.
With that awe in mind however, I also think it’s important to disengage and power down our many devices on a frequent basis. Our brains need rest. Besides which, you’d all get sick of me after too much together time.
However, I digress.
This is just a random little post to say:
(1) Wow, how about this little fancy phone?
(2) I miss you, how is everyone doing?
(3) It got into the 60s today in Denver – celebrate!
(4) I went to an Avs hockey game last night in which they lost 9 to 1. I’m still in mourning.
(5) I’ve got a more extensive weekend roundup coming your way tomorrow, stay tuned.
(6) There is no six. Which, by the way, was the first draft of, “There is no spoon” from the Matrix movie.
(7) That probably doesn’t make sense to anyone not living in my brain.
(8) I’m very tired; can you tell?
(9) Goodbye forever.
(10) Or at least until tomorrow.
(11) The picture above has nothing to do with any of this.
And scene.
