technical difficulties || an update

I had really good intentions. That’s how these posts always start, right?

Today, I had wanted to show you several (all right, A LOT) of photos from the Pennsylvania wedding we shot in June. I’m really excited about them, and am having a difficult time narrowing them down to an acceptable blog post number. But, the Internet broke at my house, as technology is wont to do. So, due to these technical difficulties, I bring you this mini-post, courtesy of my fancy phone, with a picture of this foliage.

And a peach. Because peaches are the smell of summer I think. And though summer is quickly ending for many of my school-going compatriots, it’s still 90+ degrees outside, making autumn seem very far away indeed.

Tomorrow: I promise the wedding photos will be up here. Double promise.

vacationing || Orlando family trip

ORLANDO–Location: Orlando International Airport.

Destination: Denver.

Our Family Trip 2011 has quickly come to an end. Amazing how fast adventuring time flies by. It’s a time-space continuum thing. Seriously, just ask Einstein.

We had a momentous time exploring the land a la’ Disney. The rides, the thrills, the food, the lines, the humidity, the characters, the swimming.

I have many photos and such to show you in the upcoming days, but for now, as I wait to board my flight home, I wanted to say a quick hello. I’ve missed you.

Gone fishing || Sister baseball outing

I intended to post a “Gone fishing,” we’ll-return-to-our-regularly-scheduled-programming-tomorrow notice earlier this afternoon.

Sadly…I didn’t.

Even more sadly, the reason for my temporary absence – attending a Rockies game with my sister – ended in a 6-3 loss to the Giants.

So, as you can see, a night of falling short on a few different fronts.

We all have our bad days, so let’s just settle this day right now and dive head first into tomorrow in the morning.

[something about the color green. or maybe blue] || St. Patrick’s Day

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

My sister says that the traditional color of St. Paddy’s Day is blue.

The exact reason for that is still pending.

So until we know for sure, here is a little post dedicated to the color green.

(Fair warning: All of these, except for the first one, were discovered around the office earlier today. A girl’s gotta work with what she’s got!)
