Sometimes it just isn’t possible to bring the big boys to the game.
I have a wonderful DSLR camera and a modest (that’s realtor language for small; I’m by no means rich!) contingent of lens. They enable me to do all varieties of photography, in different settings, for different purposes. I wouldn’t give up these tools for anything.
However, even though I’ve got a heart full of love for this company of photographic equipment, there are times when I can’t bring ’em all along on my adventures (sorry fellas). It’s at such times that I’m so grateful for cell phone cameras.
A few days ago, I upgraded my sturdy little, slightly worse-for-the-wear, cell phone of two years for a shiny, packed-full-of-options fancy phone.
As I prepped for the switch, I went through two years of photos shot on that old phone. I saved most of them, scrapped a few, and got rather nostalgic.
And because I’m a blogger, you know what that means.
You too get to share in the nostalgia!
Excited?
I’m someone who firmly believes that you don’t need a $10,000 camera to take good photos.
It’s not the equipment that matters, but the photographer.
These photos are by no means award-worthy, but this collection is a good reminder to use whatever tools you have at hand to tell your story.
Even if it’s just a 2 megapixel, camera phone.
