There’s life on the road, then there’s life on the move.
For Life on the Road you store your belongings, gather up your loved ones, and hit the open, ever-promising, expanse of “the road.”
Life on the Move entails packing your day planner hour-to-hour, minute-to-minute, nanosecond-to-nanosecond with so many events and appointments to the point where transitional happenings cannot occur even remotely at your leisure. Or in any sort of convenient place.
So, the weekend happened.

I celebrated Easter with my family (a Happy Easter to you all!), and ate a lot of delicious foods. And lots of sugar.
In fact, I think it would be fair to say this particular post is brought to you by the jelly bean variety of sugar.
I’ll even one up you…self…I think it would be fair to say this entire weekend was brought to you by jelly beans.
The Starburst jelly beans. Because all jelly beans were not created equal.
In conclusion, it’s Monday. And I’m just going to go ahead and blame all of the above on that.

I’m lacking words today.
I’ve started typing, then deleting, then re-typing, then deleting, and beginning once more, over and over again.
I’m not sure where my words have gone this evening. Perhaps they are just weary from a long week and have thus decided to begin the weekend early.
Perhaps I should follow my words’ lead and do the same.
Perhaps I should just show you my walkabout photos from yesterday.
Well, all right then, I will.
I intended to post a “Gone fishing,” we’ll-return-to-our-regularly-scheduled-programming-tomorrow notice earlier this afternoon.
Sadly…I didn’t.
Even more sadly, the reason for my temporary absence – attending a Rockies game with my sister – ended in a 6-3 loss to the Giants.
So, as you can see, a night of falling short on a few different fronts.
We all have our bad days, so let’s just settle this day right now and dive head first into tomorrow in the morning.
